  1. Your leaves are so wonderful. I saw that Martha Stewart was using leaves for place cards but not nearly as nice as yours!

    1. Thanks, Cheryl! I'm going to see how they survive on a postcard. :)

    1. Thanks, Debra! The bark is in layers, so you can peel it into sheets of various thicknesses. :)

  4. Great tags! I'm nutso for tags although I haven't made any in a while. The leaf stitching is quite fascinating. Are you forming them? It would seem that they would be extremely fragile. Love your mail too. Bryce Eleanor's card is adorable.

    1. Framing them (not forming them). LoL

    2. I plan to frame a couple if I come up with some I really love, but now I'm thinking of attaching them to postcards or maybe walking through the neighborhood surreptitiously hanging leaves back on trees with a little note. :)

    1. They have kept me busy, and I have a few more leaves in progress, but I am about tired of the leaves. :o

    1. I'm not sure why I enjoy making the tags so much, but they are kind of a recent obsession. :)

  7. Those leaves just keep getting better and more interesting. I'm loving the tags, too, but I have to wonder what you'll do with them. It's just a passing curiosity. I could see myself making and making and making and nothing gets used. Hopefully, you have a plan!

    1. The tags sometimes go in to letters to be used as bookmarks, but they also make good gift tags. The leaves are now going on letters and postcards--but mostly, both activities are busy work, like the old woman knitting the mile-long scarf. :)

  8. This is fantastic - all this creativity - and I love your comment about the old woman knitting the mile-long scarf!
Those leaves are amazing by the way!

    1. Thanks, Lynn! I don't always have a purpose in mind when I try something, but often a way to use my scraps and experiments appears somewhere down the line. :)

  9. Great Post!! I loved seeing everything. You are definitely the 'tag queen' and your stitched leaves left me envious!! We've been out of town for a few days so I'm just getting back on line and back to studio work.

    1. :) As much fun as getting away for a few days can be, fingers can be itching to get back in the studio.
